The Articles button (top right) opens a scrollable archive of every article behind the map — the last 30 days, grouped by source, newest first. Pick a source on the left to see just its stories; click any headline to open it in a new tab. The small red number under the button counts how many new articles were discovered in the last hour.
Every story adds heat to each entity it mentions, weighted by source and popularity (Hacker News points, Hugging Face upvotes, GitHub stars). Heat cools with a 24-hour half-life, so the map reflects the last few days of a 7-day window. Links join entities that appear in the same stories. Week covers 7 days with a 24-hour half-life; Today covers 24 hours with a 6-hour half-life and compares with 6 hours earlier. Breaking (orange name, pulsing ring) means an entity got at least 2 stories and 2.5× more attention in the last 6 hours than in the 6 hours before. New (orange ring) marks entities first spotted this week; ↑ means heat is at least 1.5× what it was 24 hours earlier, ↓ that it has cooled. Topics are drawn as diamonds; the hottest topic is filled orange and its closest connections are outlined.
